If you are like my fiancé and I, then you get hungry between meals. Instead of heading to the snack cabinet, try these easy proteins balls that will provide nutrients and a healthy alternative to the cabinet snacks.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (buy specially marked gluten free)
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp honey (or maple syrup!)
- 1 Tbsp dark chocolate chips
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly
- Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes
- Scoop into balls (makes 6-8)
- Enjoy! Store leftovers in refrigerator
